My final project for one of my classes. Done in Guoache on 11x15 watercolour paper. About 3 hours.

pretty pleased with it, though I struggeled with the shoulder area which was the last area I did and I was getting tired with it.

I really love the eyes, the colors, the realness of it, the fur is lovely as well I can't say I'd have the patience for all the spots and trying to make it look like fur, but you did great! :]

thanks, it's one of those things you have to be in the right frame of mind for, I think I could've done a better job on the fur but it would have taken me a lot longer and I didnt have time. Ho hum

How very beautiful! You really got those eyes just right though! You can indeed sense that you had a little difficulty with the shoulder area, the fur is not quite as well refined as it is on the face. However, this does not deter from the picture, it has a lovely uniqueness to it, and a very beautiful look. I do hope that you teacher appreciated this as much as i do.

Perhaps if you go to a zoo and have a look at them you might find the way to do the shoulder so you are happy with it.. Or crop it out!! he he...
