I think I've been ignoring my muse for nigh on a year now. So this is a celebration of us being back on track and me embracing my art as it comes, not striving to be anything but what it is.
This is also a celebration of my turning a corner with my artwork and where I want it to go. It's so easy as a creative person to be intimidated by the very prospect of trying to get down on paper that wonderful image you see in your head to end up not doing it at all. I'm not doing that anymore, I'm now moving forward with my work and embracing the challenge and the intimidation!
Anyway - enough of that stuff - this came out very different to my original concept - but I love it regardless, the muse really did take hold for this one, which is why I chose the name Muse for this piece. Sketched out with pencil and then colour and texture added in Photoshop
